In this holiday-shortened week, the Tuesday retail reports have been pushed to tomorrow. As a result, the key economic release for this morning will be Consumer Confidence.
The S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index will be reported at 9 a.m. ET. Both the seasonal and non-seasonally adjusted numbers for the index are expected to drop by -0.5 percent. The range for the non-seasonally adjusted index is from a bearish -1.2 percent at the low to a bullish gain of 1 percent at the high. The seasonally adjusted range is from a bearish -1 percent to a bullish gain of 0.5 percent.
The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence Index will be released at 10 a.m. ET. The consensus forecast calls for a gain to 65, up from the
