Top Ten Classic Games That Could Use An HD Remake
Because remakes should mean more than just painting over pixels.

A lot of classic games have been redrawn in HD, but with a few rare exceptions, the new art seems more like a mask than an enhancement. A real HD facelift should be able to take the soul of the original work and breathe new life into it, rather than just trace over the old pixels for the sake of putting "720p" on the box.
After a pretty exhaustive process of looking at just about every notable game released in the 20th century, I've come up with a list of ten that could actually benefit from an HD makeover done right. These probably aren't the most popular fan choices -- there's no Final Fantasy or Metal Gear or Chrono Trigger on here, because new graphics wouldn't really make the games any better than they are -- but they're all excellent candidates that would, at the very least, make for an interesting experience...if done right!
